Cathie Shuster has been singing for most of her life. She performed in musical theatre
while at university and learned live on stage to follow that golden rule: the show
must go on - even when your costume falls apart in front of an audience!
Undeterred, she went on to join Suffolk Opera and appeared in The Mikado. She has
organized and performed at concerts all over Suffolk and is particularly appreciated
by the Decibelles for her management skills. She is their chairman, and as such somehow
manages to brings order to ten strong, noisy, and in some cases, highly disorganized
personalities!
Cathie particularly loves singing classical, folk music and jazz. She also plays
the piano, oboe and tin whistle, and enjoys arranging songs for the Decibelles to
sing.
